Engineered Stone

Engineered stone slabs are created by bonding up to 94% natural quartz, one of nature's hardest minerals, with aggregates, pigments and enhanced polymer resins to provide a beautiful stone surface with excellent heat, stain, scratch and chip resistance.

At Artisan Stone we support reputable international brands including Caesarstone, Quantam Quartz, Silestone, Compaq and Santa Margherita. This is because we trust the quality, composition and food safety rating of the resulting engineered quartz slabs, all of which meet the international NSF/ANSI 51 sanitary standards, approved for installation in hospitals, restaurants, hotels and more.

For cleaning instructions refer to our Care & Maintenance guide.  Another useful guide is the Caesarstone cleaning video.

Surface detailing such as milled drainer areas or drainer grooves may void the manufacturer’s warranty on the piece of stone, as the polish in these areas may change slightly over the life of the product. Please check with us if this is a concern.

Engineered stone products should not be used in exterior applications as direct exposure to sunlight can discolour the resin and cause lighter colours to yellow and darker colours to fade.
